if she waits till something like 2 days before the dance and then asks you, turn her down and say you made other plans. if shes treating you as a backup plan and you go along, then you'll always be the backup plan.

Ok so an update ( I figure this can be entertaining for you guys and helpful for me the longer we make it )
Her facebook status is "(girl) is wondering if anything else can go wrong this week [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]" Do I go nice guy route here and text her and be like whts wrong or just text her about something business oriented and then if/when she brings it up I will be there? I am thinking number 2.

[/ QUOTE ] In all reality it is probably too late, you are more likely to hit 5 of a kind in NLH than getting out of the friend zone. IMO how about telling her the truth? If she rejects you oh well, you're A LOT better off being rejected than being stuck in purgatory i.e. friend zone hell.

why college kids shudnt try relationships with HS girls. srsly..
besides that...sounds like a HS girl by nature (still wants to play games), so dont waste ur time. u sound like a good kid, and u dont wanna get dragged down to the bottom of this lake. just take it in stride, ask her about the text (to put her on the spot and make her feel uncomfortable), and leave it at that. find some cool girls at college...urll b fine

Hmm interesting responses the general consensus seems to be aggressive..I gues thats what a poker player is prone to do haha.
Ok well I pretty much decided that I was gonna go that until I just got this text...her best friend died like 2 months ago (already knew that) but his brother died this morning. Talk about variance...now I am gonna wait out that aftermath I guess and then pursue. God why does this ish always happen to me.
