They are making an Office spin off of that branch with Karen (IIRC), so he really might be leaving to go on the other one.

EDIT: Eh, they say new characters will be in the Office 2, so nevermind.

This makes me so angry. [censored] networks. They finally get a good series, and instead of letting it go they just want to make a cookie cutter copy to suck all the life out of the idea.

As someone who is a little bored with Jim's schtick, his glance at the camera before Karen sat him down to talk was gold.

I found Jim's character to be really annoying in this episode, but I can't quite put my finger on why.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't agree. At all. He was put in an incredibly awkward situation and acted incredibly awkward in it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I loved Jim in this episode because it actually showed his character in more depth. He's normally the even tempered, joke-making guy. But in this episode we actually see him annoyed and angry. I thought he did the whole car ride really really well.

And that ending was awesome.

[/ QUOTE ]
Ya I agree. When I saw Jim yelling I was thinking WTF Jim can get mad? It's nice to see him doing something that isn't rolling his eyes.

i thought it was pretty weak, although it was nice to see karen back. i only laughed at a couple of things (oscar's gay line, 'host the dundees', eyes/groin/face). there were some other cute and nice parts, but overall it was pretty meh.

[/ QUOTE ] nit. Have you ever liked a ep of the office?

I agree with him too. Was a "meh" episode. There were a few really funny lines which were already mentioned, but they did little to rescue the bland plot. It belongs in the bottom 25% of Office episodes, IMO. I feel season 3 started a lot stronger than season 4.

Actual God doesn't think Tenacious D has ever been funny. Take that for what you will.

good detective work. would you mind filling in the rest of the slower readers on how you discovered my undying hatred for the office based on my criticism of a below-average episode?
