Default Re: FGators: The Final Chapter [1.4m hands EV graph]

He is winning, yes.

No one is denying that - with FPPs as adjusted RB plus the odd tourney score till he though Stars was rigged despite him being one of the top ten online MTT players when he plays his A game (lol) he has probably done pretty well out of poker in the sense that the average player loses the rake so he is in fact in the top 5-7% of Stars 1/2.

Plus, if im interpretting the EV graph correctly he has been running badly for the last couple hundred thou hands. Ironically he says he has started c-betting more and "other changes" to his game and he has been winning during this period he is running bad.

But at the end of the day - someone could 12 table a breakeven game and make around $20 an hour or they could do so much more to improve that.

The fact is he could improve his earn rate by single tabling a HU cash game - he could increase his earn rate by playing less tables - the fact is he doesnt play for money, he plays for FPPs.

Ironically if he sells the porsche as soon as he gets it he will get, what, $80k? Plus with SNE status he gets a free ticket to the PCA, a free ticket to the WSOP and a ticket to the Monte Carlo EPT so thats over 40k of stuff right there.

But as i said in another thread if he had improved his game to a modest 2bb/100 by not refusing to take advice and by taking on some coaching he would have made a [censored] of cash - especially if you factor in him moving up at some point in his "career".

actually this hand does a pretty good job showing why you are completely braindead at postflop play. when you play your style which involves only betting hard when you want to stack off, by taking this line villain knows you are folding this river close to 90% of the time unless you have a stubborn'ish KJ

[/ QUOTE ]

It's not that bad. Give it a break, Clayton.

he doesn't use PT?

HE DOESN'T USE PT????

HE DOESN'T USE PT!!!!!!?????????

LOL. seriously, wtf. like, good god. this is unreal. well i hate to break it to everyone, but once fgators figures out what a HUD is and how to use one he will probably become a winning player. like, jesus. wow. i'm stunned. like wtf. i can't stop typing. i'm literally in shock. i thought this guy was just really, really bad. but the reality of it is he probably just plays bad because he plays too many tables.

[/ QUOTE ]

What makes you think he's going to start now? Peole have been telling him he needs to use PT for well over a year - maybe longer.

In addition, players like Nath have offered to coach him for free (iirc) and he turns them away because he clearly has mad skillz and is just unlucky.

Normally, I wouldn't pile on but this guy really deserves all the ridicule.

[/ QUOTE ]

Didnt he start using PT and a HUD when this came up like a year ago when it took like 100 people calling him an idiot for not having the programs whilst 12 tabling before he got the message?

EASILY the funniest part of the EV graph:

[ QUOTE ]
Unless I'm misunderstanding terribly it seems that the fact the lines are dead straight means he hasn't changed his style in 1.6m hands.

He got PT, don't think he figured out how to use it.

It would surprise me if he got a HUD.

Don't change it if its breaking even.
