Pot flop. Pot turn. Against some agro players I check the river. Given your read b/f river.

Hero bets $9.00</font>, MP calls $9.00, BTN calls $9.00

Pot Size: $59.50 ($2.85 Rake)

BTN had 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (a straight, Ace to Five) and WON (+$37.15)
MP had A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and LOST (-$19.50)
Hero had 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (two pair, Aces and Sevens) and LOST (-$19.50)
In retrospect i should have bet/f 2/3 of the pot on the river given the nature of the oponnent.

[/ QUOTE ]

why 25 on the river? There is a lot of missed draws that could try to bluff. Or is it because it's against two opponents and a bluff is less likely and it's probable that one of them has an A and could call a value bet? We have to win 50% here for the value bet to be profitable, isn't that more likely if we bet small, kind of like a blocking bet (like Hero did) so more bad hands could call?
