Default Check call or Bet Fold/call

I nearly don't bet fold enough on the river when the board texture is somewhat scary for my hand, thus I give too many free SDs to fish who would've paid off. In the follow hands do you guys like the bet fold/call line or a c/c line? All villians are loose idiots who will call down super light.

Hand 2 seems like a c/c on the river over b/f imo. (granted I suck)

Hand 3 is tough though I assume its an easy call here. I would assume this is a queen c/r a lot.

Hand 1 is c/c to passive a line here? I think when I get called down on the flop and turn that id rather resort to c/c

Hand 1

Thats gonna be a wtf call from me. I dont fold to river raises on cards that dont make sense.

Hand 2

As played its an easy fold. I would consider c/c'ing

Hand 3

Another wtf call on my part. Make a note if he has trips

1 - I would have check called the river. As played, I would have folded.

2 - Same

3 - easy call

With all due respect. It is as important to know if they are bluffhappy when checked to, as it is to know that they call down super light.
It is also important to know if they´re betting marginal hands when checked to or if they can bluffraise.
I almost never bet rivers unless I know what to do if I get raised. And that is totally read dependent.

assuming they are all showdown bound (say wtsd 42), i would:

hand 1. b/f against passive, c/c against moderate to aggressive (if he's moderate, i'm probably behind but he could have a flush draw to bluff with or a pair of jacks to value bet)

hand 2. b/f against passive to moderate, c/c against aggressive (if he's moderate i can trust his raise, whereas if i check on this board he bluffs less worse hands than he calls with)

hand 3. b/f against passive, b/c against moderate to aggressive; also, i would b/f turn against passive (a moderate can have A7, A9, or something random)

i change my answer a bit, i would b/c against aggressive since he's less likely to have an ace and more likely to bluff-raise the river than a moderate.
