50NL 6-max, easy fold for AK against river shove?
Villain just sat down -- no reads or notes.
I feel like my turn play (calling his check raise) was a bit weak on my part. PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) UTG ($30.20) MP ($47.10) Hero ($43.70) SB ($26.75) BB ($25) Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.25, SB calls $1.15, 1 fold, MP folds. Re: 50NL 6-max, easy fold for AK against river shove?
bet more on the flop ... maybe 2.50$ ... bet more on the turn
5$ ... and as you getting checkraised reraise him again ... you want your money in ... you have a strong hand and miss value on almost every street!! no way you can fold to his river shove ...!! click call and be happy |

the only hand i can see beating you on the flop is 66. dont see 22 floating the flop oop. ehhh i get it all in as fast as possible.

Re: 50NL 6-max, easy fold for AK against river shove?
Easy fold??? easy call. You should have gone ahead and pushed turn, I think.
Only 3 hand combos are beating you (66) while there are IDK how many Kx combos, but 4 for every Q, J, T, 9...that's as far as that should go. K6 suited is the only hand that might, might call you pf if it's an unknown, so balance that out with maybe AK (also unlikely). Taking a reasonable estimate of KT up to KQ and taking AK and K6 out of the equation, you're 12-3 ahead most of the time. Note: this is a super rough estimate, but it's approximately how I look at it while at the tables. It is by no means exhaustive. |

Thanks for everyone's feedback.
Looking back at this, I should've just pushed the turn... And I agree, this was an easy call when he pushed the river... As it turns out, Villian who pushed was 95/22/5 over 30 hands of playing w/ him... so I probably would've taken that pot down. |

I don't mind a turn call and letting him bluff the river tbh
