Turn decision on scary board
I've been flipping back and forth on this one for a few days. I have no idea why I didn't full pot which might have made things a bit easier.
On the turn the pot is $30.75 and effective stacks are 39. Should I bet the turn and if so how much? CO is a 54/4/0.37 extremely loose passive calling station, chases weak draws, the usual stuff. BB is 20/12/1.39. Has seemed reasonable and hasn't been out of line over the 90ish hands at the table. PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) CO ($85.70) Hero ($48.50) SB ($51.50) BB ($49.25) UTG ($50.50) MP ($60.60) Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG raises to $2, 1 fold, CO calls $2, Hero calls $2, 1 fold, BB calls $1.50. Re: Turn decision on scary board
I would bet here approximately never. While it would be nice to price out the flush draw, any bet basically commits you to the pot given stack sizes, and I don't think I would want to play for my stack vs. 2 opponents with TPGK on this board.

Re: Turn decision on scary board
check behind and hope to check behind on river. I'm basically ready to trash this hand once you get two callers on the flop.

Re: Turn decision on scary board
BB c/c worries me. I am checking behind here. They are both pretty passive, I dont expect them to bet this board without something good on the river either.

Re: Turn decision on scary board
I don't like betting because we can't stand a raise but we have good showdown value. I probably won't call a bet on a river that doesn't give us a straight (that isn't a heart obv).

Re: Turn decision on scary board
is this a reasonable call of an UTG raise? is it the presence of the co call that makes it so? or having the button?

Re: Turn decision on scary board
basically looking to flop a big hand or big draw, but not standing up to alot of aggression if we flop top pair. something like that?
