you double the force of gravity.. so assuming the bv^2 model, the speed increases by sqrt(2) or like 40%.

wont air resistance for 2 poeple be 2x as great as it was for 1 person?

Assume 2 cases with 2 people falling out of an airplane.

in case 1, the 2 people are holding hands

in case 2, the 2 people are falling right next to each other but not holding hands

are you saying in case 1 that they will fall faster then in case 2?

Air resistance is a function of air density, velocity, and surface area. So it really depends on how the people are falling, but if it's two guys grabbing each other like a tandem jump without a harness, it's doubtful that the reference surface area will be double that of a single person. Two guys next to each other are slightly harder, there's probably some interference between the two so there's less drag, like how a biplane does not equal two seperate wings, but it would be closer to two people. Damn, this is way too serious for BBV.

Drop a feather and a brick in a vacuum they both will land at the same time. I think nasa did a similar experiment on the moon. It's just air resistance.

pretty sure you just reach terminal velocity in both cases. more importantly, point break was still amazing.
