Button, the fish, calls and BB calls. Flop is K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] BB checks, I bet 42, fish calls quickly, BB calls. Turn is 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] BB checks, I bet 200 into 183 pot, Fish folds, BB quickly shoves for about 1000 more. Hero??? Can I get away from this? Also, what does everyone think of my overbet on turn? |

I don't think I can get away from this unless I have more info on the BB's play. I probably close my eyes and call. That turn card makes the board so draw heavy, that his range here is quite large. The overbet seems fine, it may have induced the BB to shove more, but he just made a good play if he ended up having a set. The times he has a really good draw like Th9h it's just a high value play to shove because he's going to fold out so many hands, which is all the more reason to call here. |
