Ok folks, we need to start working on improving our games, certainly the collective minds in LoL can figure out a great set up for winning the rounds. It seems like I'm always a day late and dollor short finishing 2nd or 3rd. What are our general thoughts on DTD.

well it seems like pellet/dart tower strategy beats my tried and true squirts strategy. whenever i'm in a game with a lot of regulars with high rankings they all use a really similar starting setup, so maybe that's already been proven optimal.

If you play arcade be sure to sell towers that aren't used between levels (like stormtowers) so you can max your damage on the ground. When there is a air level, just sell some darts/squirts and build a storm tower.
One storm tower in the middle of the map is enough to kill all flying on Normal except the flying boss, wich requires 2-3 (I always go with 3 but they die pretty quick so maybe two is ok aswell). |

one air tower on full is enough to kill both flying bosses on level 49, if you have some auxillary units to help slow them down/do some side damage

[/ QUOTE ] Build one squirt tower early, but after about level 10 or so, go all darts. The key is that selling towers has no penalty, so get rid of stuff you don't need, and rearrange your map as necessary as the game progresses. |

See I set it up with two corridors with pellets and darts behind, but I'm always one step behind people using all pellets or something odd.
Am I the only one that doesn't like the "winning level" thing. I prefer it just calculated your score at the end, but maybe that's just me. Cody |
