Default 50NL AK RR and push??

NLHE Theory and Practice recommends making a large RR with AK when there is a raise and callers pf. thats what i did here.

villian is 17/5/1 over 50 hands, no reads on his play really

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 9 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $41.85
BB: $50.00
UTG: $32.25
UTG+1: $54.85
MP1: $36.25
MP2: $30.45
MP3: $50.45
CO: $30.00
Hero (BTN): $68.05

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (9 Players)
UTG calls $0.50, 2 folds, <font color="red">MP2 raises to $2.50</font>, MP3 folds, CO calls $2.00, <font color="red">Hero raises to $10.00</font>, 3 folds, <font color="red">MP2 raises all-in to $30.45</font>, CO folds, Hero calls $20.45

Flop: ($64.65) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Turn: ($64.65) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

River: ($64.65) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $64.65 ($3 Rake)

MP2 had K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (a pair of Kings) and LOST (-$30.45)
Hero had K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (a pair of Aces) and WON (+$31.20)

Is this what you do? who folds to a RR PF? i was thinking getting 2 to 1 a call was in order.

Default Re: 50NL AK RR and push??

I don't call pushes with AK or QQ PF v full stacks, as it's almost always AA/KK.

In this case, though, he's not a full stack, which widens his range, and when you combine that with your odds, I suppose you have to call.

don't like your line here at all

the only way i see that you can call is if you have been playing crazy loose aggressive and he is trying to make a move on you, but is he capable of 4 betting light? seems doubtful

i say the the majority of the time you are looking at kings or aces in this spot
