Default beat involving gambler2k4

i had a reason for how i played this. turned out to be a bad reason, but anyway from memory . . .

2/4 nl hu
stacks 470 or so
i'm dealt kxs (x didn't make a pair or a draw)

i raise to 12. he reraises to 36. i call.

flop (72)
9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
he leads for 50. i call.

turn (172)
5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
he checks. i check.

river (172)
10[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
he leads for 100. i raise to 360 or so. he waits, waits, waits, calls for time, times that down, and finally calls with . . . 99

WTF? He slowrolled you?

I got slowrolled first time live last week, woulda throttled the guy had he been a barely competant player.

You should hunt down G2k4, kill his parents and feed them to him in a chilli con cook off.

why would you slowroll? Tho i slowrolled a guy today with 200BB stacks when i hit my set and i knew he had top top. I had to pull him over the thin line to calling by slowrolling.

But i never take their time to think into consideration, ur just an idiot if u do it for no reason.

Slow rolling is when you act last to call an all in and you take your time to call with the nuts.

I kind of like it in a HU online setting. If it puts the opponent on monkey tilt, then it's a massive +EV move.
