Re: Foxwoods stud games are they profitable?
I've only played 20-40 stud there recently, but the games are QUITE soft with loose passive action being the norm.

Re: Foxwoods stud games are they profitable?
The $20/40 game has been very good the times I've played in it. If you're bankrolled for $5/10 NLHE, you should be able to swing this. Give 7CS4AP a read first.

don't waste your time with 5-10. its usually filled with tight, nitty regulars. the 10-20 is usually better.

Re: Foxwoods stud games are they profitable?
I am rolled for 5/10NL so I should be looking to play 10/20 or 20/40. I have played up to 5/10 online and was wondering if these games can be compared to the 10/20 or 20/40 games at foxwoods and I know live I won't have my software to help me with openents board cards so I will need to pay attention. Can these games be beat for a sustainable profit or are the rakes and ante and bring ins to high to sustain any real profit? Thanks for your help

Re: Foxwoods stud games are they profitable?
The typical $5/10 online game is tougher than Foxwoods $20/40 game. You pay a rake online too. The bad players are more than enough to compensate for the extra buck you pay at Foxwoods. Everyone at the table pays the same antes and bring-ins, which are on the high side but not outrageous by any means, so that won't prevent you from winning. I am quite confident that I could beat Foxwoods $20/40 game for a living wage if I decided that that's what I wanted to do. I don't see how that would come up, though.
