Default U.S. stands Alone in defense of Israel

U.N. passes resolution 10-0 and U.S. vetos it. Of course, the United States is always right, so the rest of the world must be wrong, just like the majority of the world was wrong when it came to invading Iraq.

The rest of the world is claiming that Israel's response to attacks are "disappropriate."

The U.S. is very family with exercising "disappropriate" responses, so I can see why we would have a hard time understanding the point of view coming from the rest of the world.

Save Israel! Why, I don't know.........but let's save it anyway!

The UN is almost a worthless organization. It is good for laughing at and that is about it.

With some turns in good fortune, bad diplomacy, and extra hate mixed into the conflict this little adventure by Israel could quickly become something worthwhile - A beneficial regional conflagration that may even explode into a nuclear conflict. Get your ya-ya’s out.

If you are an American, supporting these Israeli atrocities, that include attacks on civilian infrastructure, is tantmount to supporting rapturists and dominionists.

Drudge has a huge list of headlines in his "subheadline" upper left area at the moment. At the very top of them in red:

[ QUOTE ]
Vatican condemns Israel for attacks on Lebanon...

[/ QUOTE ]
Then after that: [ QUOTE ]
Hezbollah guerrillas fire 700+ rockets at Israeli towns...
200,000+ Israelis now staying in bomb shelters...
Haifa residents told to remain in safe areas...
Israel Intensifies Attacks Against Lebanon...
USA warns against travel; authorizes personnel evacuation...

[/ QUOTE ]
If you are a rapturist, your heart should be pumping like mad...is this it? is this the end of days? Will the liberals and catholics get "left behind"?

Then the last one [ QUOTE ]

France condemns...

[/ QUOTE ]

well, maybe the rature is coming after all.

I'm coming to the conclusion that we won't acheive peace in the middle east until there is a conflict in which civilian populations have been made to endure extreme suffering. Similar to what the inhabitants of Berlin and Tokiyo suffered.

"disappropriate."

I believe the word you're looking for is disproportionate. It is not surprising that you would get this wrong twice, as anti-semites are generally uneducated.

This is very true. The two most dangerous lobbies in American foreign politics are unabashed Zionists and Sectarian Christians who believe in US intervention in the Middle East because of the "Rapture".

When America decides to stand alone with Israel, it gives terrorists the twisted moral justification they need to conduct their activities.

If America post cold war remained neutral and isolationist in regards to the Middle East, Americans wouldn't be dying in foreign wars or spending itself into economic oblivion like it is today.

That one little nation has so much sway over American politics is ridiculous.

But I guess saying so makes one an anti-semite and buddy buddy with Hitler to some

No Peter, thats not why you are an anti-semite (although your bitter anti-israel stances are certainly circumstantial evidence), its statements like this:

[ QUOTE ]
The other incident involved "some sort of Jew" who was gyrating in ultra-Hari Krishna style, causing some people to view him comedically, other with embarrassment.

[/ QUOTE ]

And This:

[ QUOTE ]
"Do you see these as valid reasons for hate/dislike for Jews by Russians?"

Dislike yes

[/ QUOTE ]

And This:

[ QUOTE ]
On the contrary, I have not formed any opinions on "Russian Jews", but showed by some practical examples why other people would form negative judgements. Their judgements are perfectly legitimate, just as your judgement would be for not walking into a certain section of town at night with lots of money.

[/ QUOTE ]

And This:

[ QUOTE ]

And why do Russians hate Jews? Is it genetic?

[/ QUOTE ]

And This:

[ QUOTE ]
There are reasons for dislike.

[/ QUOTE ]

That make you a clear anti-semite.

Not to worry though Peter, you're nowhere near as bad as the OP, who pretty much spouted the "protocols of the elders of zion" verbatim in the other thread he posted in. Andy actually deleted his post.

When was America ever neutral or isolationist towards the middle east? Certainly not in my life time. Anyways are you suggesting that after the cold war America should have completely ignored the middle east? That is allow things like , letting Saddam Hussien grab Kuwait, or OPEC to conduct its business in Euro's instead of dollars? If the United States completely ignored the middle east, from the time the cold war ended to present, the Iranians would likely now be in control of 30-40% of the worlds oil reserves and already be in possesion of nuclear weapons.

Yep, the Israilis are complete monsters and the Muslems are perfect angels who give love bombs to the kids in civilian shopping malls and bus stops. Both sided have blood on their hands.

As for disproportionate, I think they're actually rather restrained for being attacked on a constant basis. Hell, Yours Truly goes off and invades 2 countries, killing tens of thousands of people, after one incident. Now thats disproportionate.

"saying so makes one an anti-semite"

There had been, to this point, one accusation of anti-semitism in this thread. The poster so accused had, in another thread, posted a link to an anti-semitic website, so there is substance to the accusation, irrespective of the substance of the current thread.
