Urgent help needed: U.S.-to-Italy calling card

So a little emergency came up with some friends traveling in Italy, that I'm going to need the best rate for calls to Italy from the United States.

Nearly all calls will be made from a U.S. cell phone, to a mix of Italy cell phones and land lines.

Suggestions for the best way of going about this are greatly appreciated!

I'm assuming the best and fastest place to get this is on the web, but there are about a bazillion phone card sites, and I don't know what is reputable and what is instant.
