Isn't that a pretty weak idea? I think that we fold the best hand quite often by doing that.

Maybe. I doubt we fold the best hand too often by doing that. But maybe we do.

This is bad advice. If you call the turn, you absolutely cannot fold to a river bet and the only reason not to raise is to disguise your hand and minimize loss against set/maximize value against small overpair.

EDIT: FWIW I think you are ahead more than 50% of time here.

Good point about calling down here but if we plan on calling a shove on the river then we might as well set it all in here to pay him pay if he is drawing or has a worse hand.
