You can get Asia business seats at iflybusiness for about 35% of the cost of the airlines.

Most of the adjacent hotels are already fully booked, due to Aussie Millions and the Australian Open. There are some "lesser" lodgings a cab ride away, but I would suggest bouncing on this now.
