Re: Phony Soldiers (long)
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] However, just because you're a military veteran doesn't give you the right to say whatever you want, [/ QUOTE ] Oh yes it does. My fellow veterans and myself have paid a lot more for that right than anyone else who has it. Within the context of your statement, though, I am grown up enough to know that some people might disagree with what I say. I am also confident enough not to care, or call them names. [/ QUOTE ] This reminds me of somethign that happened many years ago in a poker room. An older gentleman tried to argue that because he was a WW2 vet he could put his rack on the table if he wanted to. |

[ QUOTE ] just because you're a military veteran doesn't give you the right to say whatever you want [/ QUOTE ] True. That right is inalienable. [/ QUOTE ] This is really starting to piss me off. Apparently being a military veteran gives you the inalienable right to quote people out of context. [ QUOTE ] I respect military service, I really do. However, just because you're a military veteran doesn't give you the right to say whatever you want, and give others the right to accuse anyone who disagrees with you of "insulting servicemen". Limbaugh didn't treat this caller any differently than he treats other callers he disagrees with. [/ QUOTE ] BTW, I'm not attacking you Alex, this is like the fourth response I've seen to this 1/2 comment. |
