I shove this even without a read. The stage could not be set better for a squeeze play here. Calling for set value is fine too, but I think the squeeze is way more +EV.

What if the initial raise came from MP or EP? Would that be a push too? I am asking 'cause I see that a lot and I don't know what to do usually.

MP is where I would start needing a read. EP... no, I'm calling and seeing a flop.

Depends on my read on the SB, since I'll go ahead and read the CO on a steal. The SB has me worried, and it should worry the CO as well, since he's calling out of position, so I will default to the thinking he's got a strong hand, AND a much bigger stack then us. We can end the pre-flop betting here, so I think a call is my decision, especially since now I do not act first, and if I spike a set, we're set to make a early christmas gift for ourselves.

If hero had 20k instead of 10k, is pushing bad?

The deeper we are, the worse it is. Pushing and winning right here represents an increase of about 1/3 of our stack. The deeper we are, the less the immediate increase without seeing a flop and the better our implied odds for just calling.

It's also less believable we push a premium hand when we're >30BBs deep.

etc. etc.
