srsly guys a couple hundred years ago it was in the interest of some old rich white guys for all biracial people to be considered black. It discouraged interracial relationships and encouraged white people to hate on black and biracial people. This helped to perpetuate slavery, which provided an economic windfall for those old rich white guys. The one drop rule is a retarded relic and we should stop following it.
