First of all when a responder to a Craigslist ad says "the item" instead of your x360, IT IS A SCAM!
Second, even if he pays via Paypal, you will be responsible when paypal figures out it is paid with a stolen CC or something. That is if you actually receive the money and it is not a false confirmation email (someone else referred to that in an earlier post). Even if you receive the money and take it out of your paypal acct; they will bill you, or charge your credit card, or get it back from you in some way because the other end will be from outside the country and they don't have any recourse. Third (and this is just from past Craigslist experience), if they didn't negotiate the price in any way along with wanting you to ship overseas, it is a scam. Everyone tries to pay less than you've listed it for. |
