I feel compelled to follow through on river.
Button is on tilt and has been LRR a lot, I didnt feel like tangling with him in a big pot with my hand.
Against a limping button I would normally raise this hand, standard ? BB is new to the game, I have no reads. Re: I feel compelled to follow through on river.
You cannot bet/fold any turn and HAVE to bet it. River is a very reasonable card to 3 barrell at, although there is a strong chance you were bluffing with the best hand.

Without the improvement on the turn, I mix between b/f and c/f. [/ QUOTE ] Say you bet and he raises. How many outs do you have and whats your odds? Serious question here. Do you even know the concept of pot odds and outs? |

Re: I feel compelled to follow through on river.
Id say bet/call any turn if he raises your getting a good enough price to call and he will likely put in another BB on the river too when you hit your flush so bet/folding is awful IMO

Re: I feel compelled to follow through on river.
Im just going to assume the bit about b/f;ing the turn was a typo. Basically, when you bet this river, youre trying to fold out the nut flush draw. You have enough showdown value to check. Raise pf too.

Do you even know the concept of pot odds and outs? [/ QUOTE ] Clean outs I believe I have a grip on, it is with discounting outs that I struggle. If I bet and he raises, I believe I have 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] outs, with one over card on board I must discount my 10 outs, so instead of 3 it is fair to discount to 1.5, also I have 3 Kings again discounted to 1.5. I make 12 outs from 46 so ~1/4 of the deck is an out. I am asked to put less than 1/4 into the pot if I c/c or b/c, so mathmatically my reasoning has been proven to be wrong. Thankfully I joined 2+2 to learn and not teach. Now my floored thinking aside, are you liking the river bet ? |

Re: I feel compelled to follow through on river.
dude!
You have a OESD and a fd + a overcard. If you bet and get raised you are getting 5.5:1 with a million outs. Please dont bet/fold |
