Nothing of any worth has been written. I don't think very much worthless stuff has been written either.

There might be a few useful CR videos, but I haven't watched them.

I think HU PLO is different enough from full ring or even short handed PLO that a HU NLHE specialist will generally do better at it than a PLO specialist. It requires knowing your opponents leaks and strengths to a 't'.

I think your right Rempel to some extent - will need to adjust quite a bit thou.

Especially being able to spot the weakness in your opponents is important as variance will take some of your edge vs any donk.

I really like to study this aspect of poker but it looks like playing is the only way to learn :-)

The reason there is no material on the subject is there is no money to be made from it.
I exchanged a few emails several years back with Lou Krieger, he explained to me at the time that all the money is still to be made from holdem books. Even with how saturated the market is, you still make more writing a holdem book than omaha. So quite frankly, heads up omaha hasn't got a hope in hell.

No but that in turn makes the game even more worth $$$ to the good specialists because information is hard to come by.

Bu i was hopeing to find a few good articles from the 'unknown' specialists :-)

There is a very good 5/10 HU PLO video on cardrunners between sbrugby and stinger88. Both point of views of the video are offered. It costs $9.99 to see it from stinger's POV and you have to be a member to see the video from brian's POV.

Look at the hands that Scoot posts in this forum. He plays tons of HU PLO. It may give you some ideas.

HU PLO would be extremely difficult to write about. It is tredemdously player dependant and the flow of the game is going to dictate alot of the decisions you are going to be forced to make.

If your trying to learn HU PLO then Playing is obv going to get you the best experience and posting some hands on here will help alot. Again, HU PLO is so dependant on the flow of the game, decisions could really go either way depending on how the game is going, how you've been playing and how your opponent views you etc...

Just go sit and play, try different strategies out, just don't nit it up or you'll get killed if you play long enough. The more you control the tempo of the match the better you'll do.

Thanks for the input.

Will post hands on my road to insanity. Right now I play mostly sng/low stakes plo cash just to get the flow of the game.

The game is very addicting and finding the balance between ubber maniac aggression / super aggro and reading your opponents is pretty damn fun.!

My first observation is that the players who play to tight are getting killed:-)

For the last few days ive gone from -5 buyins to 15+ daily - action FTW!
