"1) Visit a MoneyGram branch and bring some personal identification* with you. You’ll find MoneyGram agents in many convenient places where you shop. Just look for the MoneyGram sign or visit http://www.moneygram.com to locate an agent near you. Please note you can only use cash to send a MoneyGram."

with money laundering at the same place that ships all that illegal immigrant money back home to Mexico.

Personally I think this is why moneygram/WU will always be a safe haven, since illegals seem to be politically off limits, so luckily us poker players get a free ride on their coattails.

I just returned from a successful Moneygram deposit. The Speedway manager put me on the phone with Moneygram and I didn't have to fill out a form. She took all my info over the phone, gave me confirmation #...........$609.95 and 45 minutes later, $600 is in my stars account with bonii.

Everything on my receipts are in Spanish. Viva poker!

I just signed up for stars. I went to the cashier but there's no option for Moneygram. There's only WU, Epassporte, VISA, Diner's Club, etc.

Do I need to make a first deposit some other way first?

E-mail support@pokerstars.com for more details. Put moneygram in the subject box and ask who and where you need to send the money to.

i put in my zip code and it doesnt work. is it that dumb to assume that you should type in your zip code where it asks for it?
my SN is HossTBF on stars. come join me in 500 1k sometime

[/ QUOTE ]

The location finder at Moneygram isn't very good. I used a zip code/city/state and it found nothing. Then I removed the zip code and just used city and state and found what I was looking for. Moneygram was a very easy deposit method.

I did so, and here is the response.

At this time, MoneyGram is only available to US players who have earned at least 1 lifetime FPP.

So, for anyone else out there that can't see the Moneygram button at the cashier, that's why. I signed up for Epassporte, but my bank is declining the transaction when I try to load the EP account with my Bank of America credit card. meh!
