Re: 1/2 NLH @ B&M Strategy Considerations

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I just got back from Vegas. All my time was spent at the stardust 1-2NL game . [/ QUOTE ] My condolences. Any reason you didn't venture into juicier waters? [/ QUOTE ] Seriously? Here's a hand I remember from the SD. Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] has $140 or so because he just lost a pot and didn't get out the rebuy quick enough UTG (60/30 type) raises to $8 UTG, folds to Hero who calls, BB calls. Flop AQ8r UTG bets $15, Hero makes it $45, both call. Turn rag putting a flush draw on the board check, check, Hero pushes, gets called twice and thinks "Well, that can't be good, must remember not to bluff the fishes." River don't remember but it finished the flush draw, show my Ace and both players say it's good. Dunno what they had, but try to name some cards that don't make both these players look like tools. I had a TON of similar hands at the stardust; just pushing hard with TPGK (or better) and getting paid off Is your experience that the game is tougher than that, or that other games are even MORE juicy? [/ QUOTE ] That's a great table. The MGM and Caesar's were both good during the boondoggle. Players were consistently going to the felt with obvious 2nd best hands. It was easy to see who was chasing draws. I will say that when MT2R and I went Hooters at 6AM on a Sunday morning, the one table they had going might have been the juiciest in Vegas |
