"villian seems like a solid TAG" why do we want to get $ in pf with 79cc with a solid TAG? I understand that we are IP but theres not many flops that we hit hard that a "solid TAG" is going to pay us off for.

Because you're only putting 4bb's in, you've got position, you know he's a solid TAG, and hopefully you have a clue postflop. Therefore you should be able to calculate his range and know when you have enough fold equity to take the pot down, add that in with some deceptive hand-implied odds and you have yourself a winner.

interesting argument between calling and raising the flop.

i would be more inclined to call the flop with something like Ax[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and hope for an overcall/lesser flushes to come along.

i dont mind the flop raise here. you isolate the better and you may knock out some better draws (maybe Jx[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] would fold or something like that). plus it disguises your hand (i think youve shown a ton of strength raising the pfr/flop better).

anyways, what do you guys think about call the $14 and fold turn UI/shove if we do?
