can I get rid of this line?
This line just appeared the other day when I was playing. It has been there ever since. What is it? Can I fix it?

Yeah, should have realized that I guess.
It's a vertical blue column, 1 pixel wide, that runs down around the middle of the screen. It just popped out of nowhere when I was playing. Unfortunately, this is a 2.5 year old Inspiron 9300. Do they sell the 17" WUXGA displays for this? Propbably not a big enough issue (yet) to replace - just curious. Thanks guys.

To prove that it's the monitor and not the computer (although the screenshot is a pretty good/funny test), push the "menu" button on the screen. When the line goes through that too, you know it's purely internal to the monitor.
