Someone fly it!

Grats to Hill on his 1/5 day, boosting his AVG up to .161!

Soto update: he now leads the PCL in AVG, OBP, SLG, and OPS. I'm guessing we MIGHT see him again this year if he starts to steal bases or learns how to pitch.

I have a bad feeling about the upcoming series with St. Louis =\

I think this series might make or break the rest of the season for both teams.

The Brewers are in a tailspin and the Cards are charging hard while the Cubs just suck right now.

Whoever wins this series has the best shot at winning the division unless Milwaukee's pitching wakes up (goddamn you Turnbow - fantasy arrghhhhh).

If they split the series...well, who knows what will happen.

I like having 4 against the Cards at home though, gives us a chance to take a big step and make a push for a solid division lead.

They started Ward one game to get him some ABs after coming off the DL. They started Fox b/c we were facing lefties which takes Fontenot out of the lineup. I would assume we will see Font at 2B today with DeRosa back in RF.

ESPN is reporting 5 years/$90 mil.

I'm no expert but that sounds like a decent deal for the Cubs.
