Watching this new season I keep waiting for the show to turn a corner and become as good as season 1 or remotely close. I've never seen a show drop off in quality so badly like it has. Why has Michael's character been totally rewritten into a moron who makes bad decisions over and over. Whilst the rest of the other characters have boring random stories going on all over the place.

I'm close to just giving up on it entirely.

Not being in the US, I have to cherry pick the HBO & other stuff I watch. Whilst I think The Wire, Sopranos, Oz etc. are exceptional, I found Prison Break ridiculously contrived from the word go - so much so that it made it unwatchable. I admire anyone who can suspend their disbelief enough to enjoy it for what it is.

I liked Season 1 because I just got the full season on dvd and watched it in a couple of sittings so it seemed intense and sucked me in, season two is total dribble it's like 40 minutes of random stupid [censored] and then Michael or his brother do something with absolutely no logic which leaves the story at another stupid cliffhanger type point.

I just started watching it this past monday. It was the first episode I watched and don't understand what the hell the fuss is. I saw a recap episode over the weekend, so I understood everything that was going on. But just didn't get it. I mean theres no excitement and you know how the show is going to end.

I gave up on prison break after s02e05 or something, I just couldn't stand that [censored] anymore. Season 1 was watchable but [censored] that season 2 really blows.

Wow, I think season 2 is fairly good and season 1 was great. I also watch Lost, Heros and 24 and would put it up there with them.

I agree and it's making me sad but I still like it enough to watch. Season 1 was caliber of 24, season 2 isn't close.

I agree that season 2 is crap, but I'm too invested after watching S1 in like two or three marathon sessions. I'm gonna hang in there and pray it gets better.

Also, thanks for the reminder. Didn't know the online episode review was available yet, thought it would be like next month.
