Default neteller fees

sorry i sure most of you know the answer to this but what are normal fees for depositing money from your bank acct to your neteller acct? im used to using firepay which is a flat fee of about $4.99 per transaction. but neteller charges me 8.9% of my amount? thats ridiculously high, isnt it? am i doing something wrong?

yes, that is the insta-cash option which is the only way you can get access to the money immediately. if you choose the online check/eft feature, it takes a few days, but it is free.

Don't use instacash...use an EFT instead (its free). Or if you do want to (or need to) use InstaCash, do the deposit on the poker site itself and they will normally pay the 8.9% fee...

This is correct, and it's why neteller has always been the best option for moving/managing your online BR. No fees.

NT to poker site = two seconds, poker site to NT = anywhere from 60 seconds (pokerstars) to a couple of days, depending on the site.

NT to your bank account = 2-3 business days. Your bank account to NT = 4 business days. (probably to encourage poor BR managers to pay the instacash fee)

It's the perfect solution for winning players who seldom deposit new money, don't withdraw in haste, but need reasonably fast clearance times when moving their BR around to take advantage of bonuses.

You did it wrong. Most (all???) sites have a deposit option for Neteller instacash, you select this to initiate the transaction and the site picks up the fees.

You have to initiate the deposit from the site and not from neteller which is what you did.
