Glad to see Louisville looks like they're putting this game away. I thought it was going to be a blowout. I guess between this game and the WVU vs GT game, I got to give the ACC a little more credit this year.

I didn't think either game would be close.

Speaking of WVU, do they really need Slaton in their lineup or is it just me?

They put up 38 against a pretty good Georgia Tech defense, so while there's no denying how good he is, I wouldn't say that WV needs him to be successful.

Terrible coaching job by Petrino....just throw the damn ball every down. Carrol made the adjustment yesterday that Petrino should've today. He still gets an easy win, but jeez. I guess averaging near 10 yards per attempt and only allowing 2 sacks in 35 plays isn't enough.

I thought the same thing through most of the game. You did your homework, well decently, on the defensive side of the ball. During that 3 weeks time of preperation you didn't institute a plan B for when the rushing attack wasn't going?

Bowl Records as follow(per conference)through 1/2:

Big East - 4-0
Pac-10 - 3-3
Big 12 - 3-5
SEC - 4-3
ACC - 4-4
Big 10 - 2-3
Mountain West- 3-1
Sun Belt - 1-1
WAC - 3-1
Mid-American - 1-1
C-USA - 0-4
Independent - 0-1

Non BCS vs BCS 3-4

Louisville won, which they were supposed to. Nothing special though. Big East moves to 4-0 and I believe clinches best win% for a conference. Game they have left is Cincy vs Western Michigan.

Tomorrow nights game is SEC vs Independent. LSU vs ND. We all know how people feel about this game on 2+2.

Wow, I don't know about that. Tough break for the Deacons.

It was the right call. The ball was definitely on the way out. You can see the helmet hit that causes the fumble and then see that the ball starts coming out before the knee is down.

absolutely, and it wasn't even that close. very irritating listening to the announcers on this one.

early lines on today say ND +8. Thoughts on this? How profitable is betting on this game until what point? (how many points can we spot ND?)

You know, the more I think about it, the more I really feel like this game is going to be close. I don't like Weis at all, but giving him film on a team for a few weeks, he might be able to do something with hit. The problem with that? He had film on tOSU and ND was just beaten by a better team that day, and they find themselves in pretty much the same exact situation as last year.

I don't have any faith in this team, when it's all said and done they might have only beaten one top 25 team in the country, and that team might be Penn State. When I think ND of '06, I see Michigan State and UCLA. They'll keep it respectable and lose by 10.
