checking flop is not bad. now that you've checked i would call. if you c/red to 350 though u could fold to a push

Yea since villains range is mostly weighted towards mid pairs given preflop action this sounds like a pretty good line since I don't think villain is ever shoving with a small pair as a bluff here. What is the plan if you c/r to 350 and he flats though?

If villian flats the C/R, we can pretty much put him squarely on overpairs. We have 1PSB on the turn. I'd shove pretty much all turns, except maybe an A. That's such a wierd line to take though.

Expecting to stack 88-TT against a solid player 200bb deep is a pretty unreasonable expectation. Call and take it from there.

if i was villain with, say, 66, id flatcall his c/r like 90%. board is COMPLETELY dry regarding pf action

Thought it was 5/10 and we were only 130BB deep. Don`t push for 200B obviously.

checking flop is bad, I would b/f the flop and feel good about it

I would not feel good about it when I fold to his raise.

Maybe you are nit or something?

Flat call a c/rai or push the flop is both EXTREMELY strong.

maybe a raise on this board vs a good oponent is a set like... 80% of the time?
edit: how can you flatcall a shove, denz?

This strikes me as a terrible idea especially as we took a really strange line.

So you're saying we should c/f the turn? Is villian's range or flatcalling a c/r really that weighted towards sets? Is he more likely to shove over the c/r with a set or an overpair?
