Re: AK top two villain shoves...
I think this is a call, mostly because of villain's stats. Otherwise it would be a much closer decision than others would believe.
Its close because the board was rainbow on the flop and a little dry (straight draws there obv) Trying to find a reasonable range - you're ahead of AQ, KQ, maybe A3s, air/retard aggression Behind - 33, JT So overall, you're more often ahead than behind (ignoring AA/KK/QQ as preflop action should have been much different). Oh and yeah, 3 to the flop, I bet flop more on flop. [ QUOTE ] Villain is 56/33/2.2. Re: AK top two villain shoves...
Have to call getting 4:1, but we are behind more often than not.
Behind 6 * 33 16 * JT Level 4 * AK Ahead 6 * KQ 6 * AQ |

Re: AK top two villain shoves...
Yeah definitely bet more on flop and turn. I snap call against this villain especially getting those odds. I ran pokerstove with a range on what this type of villain could have here assuming he repops QQ+ preflop with those stats. Looks like you're flipping against his range but given his stats you still gotta call this.
