I was wanting to know generally, will a card room, let people use an iphone to listen to music at the table? And more specifically any of the rooms in Tampa, if anyone knows. Thanks

Yeh since I'm the only one who can afford/own an iphone, it gives me such status on a internet message board, that I have to make a thread about how I own one. /sarcasm I was just asking cause I didn't know the ruling of using a mp3 player that doubles as a phone at the table.

this is def info that you need prior to going to the poker room. otherwise, you may have to go through the hassle of putting your phone back in your pocket.

the hard rock has a no cell phone rule, seems to be inforced at dealers discresion, sometimes strict sometines not so mutch. ipods seem to be alowed. id guess if u left it in your pocket no one would also know its a phone.

The Silks allows their use. Just no phone calls or texting at the table or your hand is dead.
