On the flop I called bc I know this guy overvalues hands, and I thought I had implies odds. I did not realize his stack was so short.

pot it preflop. If you put the guy on a fd or ttp, raise, if you put him on a straight, fold.

Yeah, pot it pre-flop. No reason not to.

On the flop don't say, well he has a straight, I have to fold (unless you have a great read). Instead put him on a range of hands and then make your decision based on how your hand does against that range. There's no way I'm folding this flop against a shorty. I'd just put him all in.

Also, most players won't lead full pot into the PFR with the nuts. If he did, make a note of it.
