LOL I've been looking at this for over an hour now. I'm thinking
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-LNT5265F-1...3905&sr=1-7
or
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-LNT4669-10...905&sr=1-24

The 46 has the 120hz thing and a better contrast ratio but I'm not sure I'll be able to tell the difference. And the 52 is a 52!! so I'm leaning that way. I'm getting my parents one for christmas and I'm just going to get myself the same thing at the same time. I'm really psyched cause I know they will love it but want to make sure to get good ones. These prices look great compared to the stores. enough rambling thanks for your help thac/guys.

Check out AVS Forums - bunch of videophiles who will lead you in the right direction.

From my research when buying mine (and some recent conversations with a buddy in the market) - the most important thing is really contrast ratio. That's what the eye will notice more than 1080 v 720 which is more of a marketing ploy than anything. IIRC - 720s actually better in some case depending on how much standard def tv you watch (though the chip is also really important in this case).

It's a big purchase so take a couple hours to check out those forums if you haven't already.

sup kil? SSNL missed you!

Ugh I still suck because I still have to do more school stuff on my bday.

Tomorrow I have an early class, the teacher is kind of young. Later on we have a coaching meeting for our project with the same teacher. He told me today; yeah, you will probably not be at the class tomorrow, right? 'ehhhhhh, probably not, no' -oh, thats ok. If you wanna come later or not at all, just do what u feel like.

So random. Like the guy is encouraging me to miss his class and party hard. Which I am obviously planning to do.

logmein seems to function well. However, its only free during a trial, and not continuously. And, the connection seems to drop at times. Which might be a huge problem when playing teh pokerz.

rand, there is a pro version u have to pay for, however, there is a free version which is indefinite and i have been using this...i don't usually play poker over logmein (a couple of times), but mostly for retrieving documents and such, so i don't need the super good connection...

yea, i've read about drops and the pro version prolly is better at this for whatever reason, but meh, it's still solid imo

i definitely like the program suigin. It's very useful for a donk like me because I forget to send files to my email all the time and than realize that I made a document on my PC, and can't check it on my laptop (ldo). I am going to try it for a while longer, maybe my housemates were just destroying my internetz when I wasn't at home, who knows.

Random drops are obviously completely unacceptable because it doesn't even disconnect you, but it makes you run out of time...

Maybe I should just get a hacked version of windows prof and install it on my PC. I refuse to pay for an extra version just because my stupid PC came with home instead of professional.
