Default FT Sweat $7.70 PLHE PS

Pot-limit Hold'em action. Not that many runners, so the prize pool is kinda small.

2/9 going in.

SN = MathMagic1

Tourney # 64645134.

Sherman

Edit: BTW, I'd prefer it if you all called me by my SN when/if you drop by. Calling me by my real name has cost me $ at the FT in the past (too long of story to explain right now). Thanks.

LOL. The pot obv.

Ok seriously. It works like this, you get to "call" the bet in front and then you get to raise the total amount in the pot.

So if the blinds are 1K/2K and it is unopened to me, I can raise it to 7K (first I call the 2K making 5K total in the pot, so I can raise that much more for a total of 7K).

Oh yeah, as for the name thing, I guess the story isn't that long.

Anyhow, I was at an FT once and a bunch of people came by to root me on which was sweet. But they called me "Sherman" rather than MathMagic. Unfortunatly one of the other players at the table got curious as to why. He knew about 2+2 but wasn't a regular poster himself. So he checked out MTTc, saw the sweat, and adjusted his play accordingly.

Specifically, he was playing tight, however, he made an extremely loose call (like Q9o) against my LP shove. Of course his call was +EV b/c I was shoving ATC. However, had he not known I was a 2+2er he would have folded. Basically, him knowing I was a 2+2er and me not knowing that he knew led to me over-estimating my FE against him and cost me $EV.

Bleh.

Sherman
