Default 25NL: 3 barrels

SB seems an aggressive good player. I've been playing loose

$25NL, 6-handed, effective stacks $29
UTG calls
Hero is UTG+1 with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and calls
Everybody else calls
Pot $1.5

Flop Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
3 checks
Hero bets $1
CO calls
Button folds
SB calls
BB folds
Pot $4.5

Turn 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
SB checks
Hero bets $3
CO folds
SB calls
Pot $10.50

River 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
SB checks
Hero bets $8
...

What are you repping here? Every draw missed and I think this gets snap called a high percentage of the time.

i'd just dump this preflop. If you want to play it then raise. There is just way too many players in this pot to try and steal it away here oop.

As played I'd rather check the flop and hope some donkey bets .50 and keeps everybody in the hand in case we hit our straight.

Better question is would Qx call 2. Because yes, if they called 2, they're calling 3.

I'm taking 3 barrel bluffs out of my arsenal at 25nl. If they call two barrels they're calling 3. This is spew.

Fold pf, donīt lead this flop, donīt bet the turn. On the river, the only thing and I really mean the only thing that folds there is a missed draw, so bluff much smaller. But I donīt think he is drawing.

at 10NL I took 2 barrel bluffs out of my arsenal. Then I decided cbets weren't bluffs, and took all (other) bluffs out of my playbook entirely. Helped a lot.

So 25nl is more "advanced", but people still call too much; you have to expect bluffing=spew. If conditions are perfect, ok, but here? Do you have some solid read that this guy chases flushes? Is your "loose" image consistent with only 3-street betting tpgk or better?
