thats not really what happened in my opinion... when i sat we played 10-15 hands 3 handed with Vaga protesting he wanted hu the whole time. The guy sat out once in the middle and so did i, then the game resumed for some more hands and then he left. The guy is a reg 25/50 fish and clearly doesnt care if its hu or full ring as he plays both and tends to only play at a table for a short time before going to anoher one anyway. Assuming he left because he wanted hu and 'couldnt speak english' is fanciful at best, it could just as easily be because what he though was a 'friendly' poker game had turned into people arguing over who was going to win his money.

In short i will continue to respect any HU that both players request as that is the general consensus on acceptable behaviour here. So, if you want to play HU pls go to a HU table on ftp or find someone who wants to play you HU, as far as Im concerened all that happened that day was that you started a game and got stuck before anyone else joined. Tough luck. Also pls dont go on about it in chat in front of the other players when its clear im not leaving... if i have to turn my chat off to ignore you its going to make respecting legitimate HU requests much harder.

the problem is its completely unrealistic and unreasonable to expect it - even when you are playing someone HU and have agreed to its hard enough with all the shortstacking retards who dont even request legitimate requests. Why would all the HSNL players agree to this code if theres a bunch of others who dont?

I always thought of hu on stars or UB as basically launching a nuke. Both players have to agree and turn their key for it to happen. The only exception I'd see from that is if there are no other games at that level going, then I'd prob sit anyway. People freak out when you sit in when they 'demand' heads up; they act like you are punching them in the face. Turns out all you are doing is playing poker and if they can't beat the game then too bad.
