my friend tjbentham sat in when bet2win was playing a total unknown probable huge fish, who expressed no interest at all in keeping it hu and continued to play 3handed. bet2win demanded hu repeatedly in chat and when it wasnt respected he in started going crazy and calling tjb lots of things and insulting his integrity. wtf?

then some hu-hitandrunning-scumbag who has not shown any integrity or respect for hu etiquette himself on many occasions, "ifihaditall", was actually backing bet2win up on this ridiculous claim that he has some sort of right to play fish hu just because he got there first and asked. they went off in chat for ages to tjb like a couple of faux-selfrighteous scumbags looking out for their own interest

Im not playing 10/20 NL but prefer HU alot on stars and I expect players to sit out when I ask it to be heads up. I also do the same when I sit in on a game and any one person requests it. Since stars doesnt offer HU tables (bastards) I think if one player wants to play HU he shouldn't be forced not to. Also, if the "fish" didnt want to play HU he wouldn't of sat down. If the other person requests it not to be HU and wants to play a 6max/FR then other players should be able to play. If fish is indifferent/unresponsive it shoud stay HU IMHO.

Again this is at lower stakes and mostly PLO where the fish are plentiful.

this is plain wrong, IMO. a reg has absolutely no claim to headsup if the fish is indifferent. why would he??

Had a spat with Vaga_Lion today which prompted this thread and Bet2Win always does it as well... oh and Sweetluvin called me a douche after i left and then he and Vaga proceeded to play the fish 3 handed on another table lol. Tried to raise the issue later and said id post here but they went kinda quiet, perhaps they will come and put a case.

Everyone in this thread,

Email stars and ask them to add HU NL tables.

My attitude has always been that online games are essentially public. I remember Bobby Hoff getting very mad with Prahlad back in the day on UB after being asked to leave. In a casino it would be bizarre to ask someone not to play unless the two players had agreed to play heads up -- a totally different situation.

"Uh, Mr. Gift of Gab, I'd rather you didn't sit down so I can take this guy's money myself, and anyway, I saw him first. Dibs!"

That said, I often respect these requests anyway, though I think they're pathetic and have never asked someone to leave my game.

Hi Im Vaga_Lion, I had been playing that guy HU for quite some time before you got there Jackal, and had already dropped $5k to him and wanted a chance to win it back. I always respect it when I sit and someone else asks for HU, I just expected to be treated the same. Both times you sat in the fish sat out - obv he wanted HU too. It was just frustrating because everyone else was respecting the HU request apart from you, it's just too bad that Stars doesnt have HU tables.
