Default Write to your pokermanager...

to: pokermanager@pokerstars.com

Hi,

i would like to register my dissapointment over the current shortstacking epidemic which has overtaken the higher limit nl cash games on Pokerstars. Whilst every player has the right to play within the given rules in order to try and win money, it is undoubtedly the case that if this continues these games will be destroyed and no-one will be able to make any profit from them - and likewise you will not be able to generate any rake from them either.

To this end i would like to request that you either restrict the minimum buyin to 50bbs on all cash tables, tighten the rules allowing players to rathole by leaving and returning with a fresh minimum buyin shortly after, or introduce deep cash tables (preferably all three). Until this happens i will no longer be playing cash games on PokerStars and will focus my play on the deep tables on FullTilt which were introduced at the request of the players you have so far ignored.

I would also like confirmation that all of the accounts currently practicing this strategy have been investigated to ensure no players are breaching your current site rules by ratholing across multiple accounts.

regards,
Jackal69

very good.

I think you should somehow get across that we players dont really fault the shortstack or claim we are being unfairly treated. Afterall the rules are the same for everyone.

What we want is the OPTION to play with other people who like to play the same game as we do (deep stacked NL). As the situation is now the shortstacks DICTATE what game is played. As a 100BBs player you have no saying, you are forced to play tournament poker if the shortstacks choose so.

The thing is, we 100BBs players dont need the shortstack. we would do fine with our own 75BBs minimum buyin or whatever. The shortstacks could have their own 20BBs buyin tables.

Shortstacks want to play 20BB poker. Dont raise the min to 50BB and take that away.
