AC Trop Weeknight Tourneys

Just noticed that these are 10,000 guaranteed tourneys. I normally play the ones over at the showboat and wanted to know how these compare in terms of numbers and player's skill. Thanks for the help.

I just played the 4K guarantee tonight, 155 players 90 add-ons, the players were no more skilled than at the Boat, doubt there will be much of a jump in the 10K. BTW the guarantee is first place money not the price pool, so it is even more top heavy than usual.

The breaks & coloring up were very laid back, I think every break went over by at least 5-10 minutes, I busted at 12:30am in 14th, there were only 70BB's in play at that point so I don't think it could have lasted more than another hour or so.

The one time I played in one of these, the guarantee made the prize pool so skewed it soured me to playing again.

It was something like:
1st: $5000
2nd: $1500
3rd: $800

Etc.

Sorry to keep prodding guys, but im trying to decide if its worth heading down tonight for this and then staying for the Borgata Tourney tomorrow. So do they still pay out the top 10% even though the guarantee is only for first place?

More or less...I think the tourney I played in had 120 players and paid 9. But 7/8/9 all barely got their buy-in back.

There has to be some big deals going on at that final table I would think with that top heavy of a structure
