he just overbet shoved and no one called him, so he feels
a) the lack of information makes people fear him so much he can push people around like mad
b) the lack of information makes people suspicious and more likely to call him

?

heh dunno was having same issue with the hand when thinkin about it. a player in this game is normally capable of both but for whatever reason i get the feeling he has the goods less often here.

if hes overbetting, esp. frequently it seems pretty clear he has some reasoning behind his play/concept of the effects of his play on the hand

What?

he's an unknown that we've seen overbet once before, and is shortstacking.

how is it pretty clear that he's thinking on a high level?

I didn't say thinking on a high level. But the fact that he overbet suggests there is some intention/thought process behind his bet. Hes not just functioning on a hand by hand basis he almost surely is makin the play as a compound to his last overbet. its jsut a matter of which way he expects it work, like fuego posted
