I'm not that thrilled. I want huge open worlds, not a few micro-planets to hop around on.

I'll probably be wrong, but if the first minute of the video (when it was just a ton of tiny planets) is indicative of most of the game, bleh.

I have no basis for this, but I'm guessing that the part you reference is basically the central hub. The pieces that show the lava, grass, and water seem to be examples of the larger worlds that would comprise the core of the game.

I'm really looking forward to this game. I figure Nintendo will manage to make a really innovative control system, and all of the previews for the game are positive. I didn't like Super Mario Sunshine, though. I think the premise of the game was a huge turn-off to me. Washing muck off walls just isn't that fun. Super Mario 64 was amazing, though.
