I also hate hearing "I think you've got me beat, but I'm gonna call."

[/ QUOTE ]

I was in a hand and made an enormous raise preflop with QQ and an ace-hugging hippy calls. Flop is KJx. I bet and he says "ahhh I know I'm probably losing but I'm going to pay you off". I'm not even all-in yet. Immediately I know he has AJ exactly. Value bet all-in on turn and get called

I don't go to casino much either but last time I was there, there was this guy who sat down who like tilted me from how long he took to fold. He was on my right so I had to always wait before I folded. If he was on my left I probably wouldn't care because I'd be done with the hand and off daydreaming but my god he took so frikkin' long. Capped his cards. Paused. Looked again. Deathstared everyone through his sunnies. And folded. PREFLOP.

I left about 1 hour after he sat down and a friend took my place. Literally 1 orbit in my friend stacks him on this hand:

Friend in bb with J2o. 4-5 limpers and slow idiot is in sb. Flop comes J27. SB leads out, friend raises, all the limpers fold and sb calls. sb check calls the blank turn after some hesitation and then on river my friend went all in (board is Jhigh, J2763 or somesuch). He takes like 2 full minutes trying to get a tell. He's staring, he looks back at his cards, stares at my friend some more, even goes 'do you want me to call' in that "I can read you" tone. the whole table is like collapsing from boredom. friend just shrugs and leaves the table to answer a phone call (you can do that here, not sure about elsewhere). eventually the guy calls and tables J8o. Dealer has to flip friend's hand since he's not even at table cos this guy was taking so long. J2 is shown and wait for it:

The guy SLAMS the table so it rocks and goes 'YOU GOT BLOODY LUCKY KID' BAHAHAHHAHAHAHA the dealer was trying SO HARD not to crack up.

So yes a bit off topic but he annoyed the heck out of me but got his just desserts

Sometimes the slowness of the games drives me absolutely insane. And everything everyone is doing to contribute to it.

Asking for a (censored) deck change. Moron.
Screwing around with drinks/food/cigarettes/waitress when the action is on them.
Taking a long time preflop when nothing significant has happened.
Guys semi falling asleep at 500AM. Although they make great opponents.

And guys with BO and bad breath who want to tell me every move they have made. I like to know what other people are thinking; but its always the guy who doesn't shower and doesn't know about breath mints.

And anybody who is rude to a polite dealer.

Can you give the deck a good wash please? I'm not getting any good hands.

for about 30 hands in a row, the guy to my right kept pretending he had certain hands based on flops and exclaiming them proudly every time.

i.e. flop comes 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and he says, "guess i shouldnt have folded 98 of diamonds!"

for a [censored] hour, every flop. of course you humor him so he keeps splashing, but [censored]

to be honest though i try to act annoying and like an idiot most of the time, nothing is more hilarious to me than the "regulars" being tilted by losing pots to "the idiot"

people who wait till action is on them to look at their cards preflop.

when a $50 bet is counted out 2 red chips at a time

anywhere from 6-20 stacks of 10

this idiot who raised me my last hand of the night and then in the hour extra i stayed because of it to lose all my profit he'd smooth out the chips on the table with his hand

1) Dealers who can't keep a game moving.
2) Rooms that allow players to eat at the table slowing down a 30 hand/hour game into a 20 hand/hour game.
3) Taking 10 minutes to reload chips or change cards while everyone is paying table time by the 1/2 hour.

Reading the posts, it's a wonder anyone plays live poker at all!

1) Setup requests during double jackpot time slots. I will argue instantly and incessantly with any idiot that wants to burn my lottery tickets by cutting down the number of hands dealt during 2X JP!

2) Picking on dealers in a mean spirited way.

3) Any form of racial BS at the table.

I try to remember that all other forms of village idiots are welcome at my table. Bad poker players = DEAD $$$$!!!!! and my iPod is a good defence mechanism if they won't shut up.

Blaming the dealer.
Commentary about T2 when the flop contains any combination of these cards.
Commentary about "never winning with AK" or "hating pocket Jacks". Obvious sign of bad players, but it's irritating.
Too much talking during your turn to act. As a matter of fact, any such activity that slows the game down.
