Default 20+2: agg. blind player 3 barrels - decision with TPWK

Villain tried to bluff a midpair on a 10 4 5 8 2r board. I had a 10 and called him on the river. The action when V bet 1/2 pot on flop, then checked the 8 turn, then bet 3/4ers pot on river. He had 77, so I'm pretty sure he was turning 77 into a bluff. Also, that he limps with good hands.

Villain1 (1200), button

Villain2 (3900), SB

Hero (2900)

Blinds 50/100

Fold, Villain2 completes, Hero checks with K6o

Flop: K J 2r

Villain2 leads for 100, Hero calls

Turn: 4 completes rainbow

Villain bets 300, Hero calls

River: 2 d (no flushes)

Villains bets 600, Hero ?

I would've raised flop... If you think he is an aggro bluffer then call on riv is mandatory since you called the other 2 streets.

Why would you raise the flop vs an aggro bluffer? I like pot control line. Gotta call river.

He is an agg. blind player, so I want to use a pot control line to pick off another street of value. However, when he three barrels, which is the firs time for that, is this a situation where given that he doesn't care about pot control at this point, that calling off a substantial portion of my stack supersedes the good pot odds that I'm getting?

We're controlling the pot so an aggro can bluff here on the river as well where we can still call. You're still in decent shape if you call.

Don't call turn if you're not calling a blank river is my view.

Right & there's not a lot wrong with folding the turn, but based on the read & you're feel, it seems like call & call is best.

You have to think that your hand is good for at least a half on the river plus all the times that you win against some random bluff.
