Default 200: kinduv a confusing spot, JJ at 1800, 25/50

Friend's hand, I'm interested. Everyone covers Hero.

FTP Sunday $200 + 16

Villain raises from MP2 to 200, folds to Hero with JJ on button (1800) who ______________?

His argument is to flat call because you control pot and that at 30BB+, an preflop RR is only getting it in against QQ+; AK. So pushing 1800 for 2075 isn't really all that profitable. My argument is that it's 25/50, an A/Q/K even in position is going to suck, and at 1800 25/50 in a large multi, pushing here is important to pick up 275 or to double up.

The confusion is that JJ is one of those hands in spots like this where there is a murky value line between call/raise.

What do you guys like doing with 77 - 1010; AQ.

Barry

MP2's stack? average stack? I puh cause it looks weak and may get called by worse...if he has QQ-AA he has it but at this stage I want to play a pot to double and I think he may call with worse

Has villain raised b4? 4x normal? if I've seen 3x from him b4, I'm jamming all day, he's shown us we're ahead. If the blinds go up soon we are in resteal mode anyway, we are well ahead of any reasonable range and crushing part of it (bigger part if we've seen 3x b4 or is weak player as 88-TT is doing this lots, maybe even as low as 66).

AQ, call behind
77-TT are too read dependent

I have to think it's -EV to let the bb get in cheap with our holdings, we then turn into sheep when A/K/Q flops.

This is my hand... I flat call... whatever, to each his own. I don't mind playing this hand in position. Sb makes it 600 total... MP2 folds... back to me, now what's your play?

SB stack 3400ish if I recall correctly. MP2 covered.

Table has been playing tight, SB and BB are winning players at ABI of $30(SB) and $130(BB).

1600 left and 400 to call (pot is 650ish)...push or fold...I have a hard time getting away here...any reads at all aside from generally tight tabe? If SB is good then this is an ideal squeeze spot so I guess I shove...small reraise though makes me wonder...

I think you have to push here, due to the blinds behind you. If Sb or BB wake up with anything this is a perfect spot for a squeeze. I like pushing to isolate.

Redic easy shove at this point. Classic squeeze play.

Wait a minute, hold on - a raise to 600 is a classic squeeze play? At 200, maybe, I dunno. Looks like a "please for the love of [censored] christ, someone repop with JJ, QQ" more than a "let me dick around with 88."

Sherman - push preflop before blind action?
