ewww i really hate this flop play, gehrigs talked about it plenty of times (hopefully Im not putting words in his mouth and this spot applies to what hes said before) u really just cost urself money in the long run with this kind of line.

u let AA KK off cheap more often than the reverse.. the times u get 3 flop bets and 3 turn bets outweigh the extra half bet u get to extract with a turn cr and thats assuming stupid hands that raise this flop Qx underpairs always calldown a cr ( I think if anything people showdown lighter vs a 3bet than a cr so that will outweight the possible counter point of those hands going away after u 3bet the flop, we can probably universally agree upon that)

Fair enough...thanks for the input guys. Like I said, my default is to b/3b here, but this was a fairly specific spot where I felt villain might get nutty if I gave him some rope...
