Default Should some WCOOP events be 2 days?

Ive just been looking at the bigger events on pokerstars and have to wonder if the schedulers have given any consideration to how long these events are going to take and what time they will finish at. Long blinds levels are nice, but not if you have to play until lunchtime the next day...

$5k horse, 30 min levels, 10/20 10000 chips, starts 3pm et - assuming 200 players (and it could get 500) thats 2mill chips or 250k average for final table and 1mill each for last two players. This could still be going at level 31 (60k/120k) or 16hrs-ish in and with more players could last 20.

$2500 main event, 20k stack 25/50 blinds, 30 min levels, starts 4.30 et - Assuming 2500 players (the guarantee is 2000) thats 50 mill in play and 5mill and change for av final table stack then 25mill each hu. Level 36 is 250k/500k so again this will take around 20 hrs.

I live in london, 5hrs ahead of ET and there is no way i would make it to the end of either of these events so doubt i will play... how about all of you?

Resounding yes. Both Pokerroom and FTOPS 2-day events were successes. 17-hours long WCOOP ME is not.
