If the op here had j10 or aj a spades and was the one who in the bb bet the the 1750 on the river would people consider this a spew? Because it looks to me as people are throwing some seriously powerful hands away

Easy call. You easily win this more than 1 time in 3, so you're good from the odds standpoint.

Plus, it seems borderline retarded to pay for your draw on the turn, then fold when you make it on the river.
